Construction of School Classrooms Community Service

Construction of School Classrooms

Inauguration of three fully furnished class rooms by DG Harsh Makol, in the presence of IPP Manish Patil, Club President Girish Vartak & other members of the club. Through CSR received from Toyo Engineering, our club constructed the much needed class rooms for the students of Uprale, where the existing structure was completely dilapidated & insufficient to accommodate the existing students. This project was completed under the able guidance from PP Nitin Jadhav. These class rooms can now accommodate at least 65 students per class room for years to come. The students expressed their gratitude by welcoming us with Lazim & welcome song & performed Tarpa dance.

Donation to Snehavan Community Service

Donation to Snehavan

President Girish Vartak, First Lady Vandana Vartak & Mrs Kalyani Kale visited Snehavan, near Pune. The club donated Rs 25,000/- to this institution for assisting in managing routine expenses of the organisation. Snehavan has multiple labs, technical training facilities, in-house kitchen, dormitories & such other facilities for children aged between 10-16 years. These children are typically orphaned whose farmer parents have committed suicide due to financial debts.

The students openly participated in the discussions and expressed themselves clearly. The session helped to clear common doubts and misconceptions while promoting awareness issues such as self-esteem, peer pressure, healthy relationships and mental well-being.
